Just saw Pariah

It’s rare that a film feels so real, it hurts. There’s nothing negative to be said about it; it’s just so unique in every way.
There’s a part in the beginning of the film where the main character Alike is out wearing very masculine, baggy clothing, and then once she starts going home by herself on the bus, she changes into feminine clothes like it’s a uniform. And I’m sitting in the audience thinking that damn, that’s my life on film. I’ve never seen a movie that shows that part of my life.
So if it’s near you, definitely go see it.
