that moment when kristen stewart is the one person feminists and sj people think they can break all the rules for, like she’s not really human
and she’s really more feminist than them, and they’re spending all this time talking about what a dumb broad she is and lol she cant’ make the expected facial expressions so she must be an awful human.
way to make yourself look ridiculous, feminism. *claps hands*
Wait, what? Since when do feminists hate Kristin Stewart? In my eyes, she’s a feminist figure because goes against the grain and knows it. She’s not perky yet mysterious or sexy yet innocent or stupid dichotomous stuff; she’s just her and she doesn’t really care what people think.
it happens on here a lot, either she’s dumb or she doesn’t smile enough or she played someone who ~allowed herself~ to be depressed and emotionally abused (bella).
yeah um. it happens. a lot. which is why i made the post.
By feminist tumblrs? I’ve seen many-a non-feminist tumblr gripe on her for her attitude, but I’ve only seen feminist tumblrs speak highly of her.
yesterday on this very thread we went through this whole concept, and someone was defending twi-hate by saying having depression that cripples you is pathetic and unfeminist.read back if you would like.
i’m getting the ‘stop talking abotu this, it doesn’t happen because i’ve personally never seen it feel, and um.
there’s a reason i made the post in the first place so…
I’m not saying “don’t talk about this,” I’m asking for clarification. The original post makes it seem like there’s a feminist movement against Kristen Stewart and so I’m voicing how I just think that’s inaccurate.
not a movement against k-stew, but there are a lot in the feminist movement who say ableist and misogynist things about k-stew.
This is the last reblog from you i’m going to do - i’m being mean but i’ve had a bad day and if it’s hard for you to face the fact that feminism has some internalized sexism problems i’m not really willing to walk you through it.
Ha ha, I’ve LIVED through internalized sexism, I was a poster child for internalized sexism, and I don’t need someone to walk me through it and how it operates in feminism. I just can’t really agree on your critiques on feminists and Kristin Stewart because any criticism I’ve seen for how she behaves gets most defended by feminists, they generally don’t start it.
