I'm Aria. I try to be as honest as I can be and give myself and others amnesty even though I can get defensive easily. I'm "that person" who gets labeled as overly-sensitive, politically correct, or an angry feminist, and that's okay. I want to be able to share my inner thoughts/feelings with people, but I don't think they're used to that kind of trust. I'm a biracial gay woman, but I've always felt like I've had a great amount of privilege. I guess anything you see on this blog will come from those places.

I’m half-white, half-Asian. Tricky, right? But I’m sure there too are white people who have moments when it seems like every white person is saying the wrong things at the wrong times, you know?
